This site was started so I could share my collection of railway images I have been taking for the past few years. All photos are my own work unless otherwise noted. From time to time I travel and try to take photos in different locations. I will post mostly images shot in Prince Rupert but not limited to here.

Mile Post 58 "Skeena" on the Skeena Subdivision
Well it's been awhile since my last post so I thought I'd share some photos I captured at mile post 58 on the Skeena subdivision on Canada Day. The first 3 images are of the view looking West towards Rupert, South across the Skeena river and East in the direction of Terrace. The next 3 photos show an East bound empty coal train lead by Locomotive numbers 2231 and 5736.

Absolutely beautiful. Nothing much changes in 50 years ... Thanks for posting!
Nice shots, Scott. The flowers remind me of a post I'm working on, with wildflowers and trains in the same frame, for Trackside Treasure. Good coal train with distributed power. Kind of off-putting when that second unit comes along, especially facing backwards after 90 cars, with more cars behind, as they're often run here on CN's Kingston Sub.
