This site was started so I could share my collection of railway images I have been taking for the past few years. All photos are my own work unless otherwise noted. From time to time I travel and try to take photos in different locations. I will post mostly images shot in Prince Rupert but not limited to here.

Why they mark cars with rotary couplers?
The answer is so they avoid an accident like the following that happened at dumper 31 Westshore property at Roberts Bank. A snafu, first coal car behind locomotive must have a rotary drawbar next to locomotive. Photos by unknown.
Bullshit! No way a rotary coupler can cause a loco to flip like that. Get your facts straight.
The coal dumper grabbed the loci and tipped it over. Don't blame the coupler.. it's the guy operating the dumper's fault. And it happens more often than you'll ever know.
